We tried to petition the NFL to keep Vick from getting back in but they didn’t care I guess. http://frankiethelawdog.com/?p=457

Were going to pack up all our t-shirts and everything with team logos and send them to homeless shelters because were not supporting NFL anymore over this.

My husband and I own seats for Carolina Panther home games. We are boycotting the Philly game in Sept. We are not attending and are not selling the seats. We detest what Philly has done.

As for Vick being a changed man. Horse Hockey!. Last I looked, they do not have classes on how to be a human in prison.

Pat, you’re right. And I think it even goes way beyond just breaking the law in this case. Here you have a guy who savagely injured and killed dogs with his own hands. You have to be a really, really messed up person to do something like that. This wasn’t a “mistake” like Stallworth made when he drove drunk and tragically ended up killing someone. That’s horrible, but it wasn’t planned and it wasn’t something he engaged in for years and years. (Stallworth never had prior drunk driving arrests.)

But with Vick, the torture and killing of dogs was an enterprise he engaged in for years and that he got into with the goal of (1) making money, and (2) having “fun.” He’s not worthy of another shot at sports stardom.

I think letting Michael Vick return to the NFL is sending the WRONG message to our Children. What the NFL is saying is, if you are an exciting players you can break any law and we will let you play football.
