That is great advice, Wild Dingo. I can see that the break away collar makes perfect sense and can really be a lifesaver.

And yes, these guys still need plenty of training! More classes are definitely on the agenda.

"Daddy's bottle of Viagra" HILARIOUS. Serious note tho: if you have mouth wrestlers for dogs (which is not a bad thing -- some dogs play this way and understand bite inhibition, not biting too hard), make sure you always have them on "break away collars"... you don't want to know what could happen with a slip collar or a collar that won't break off if one of their mouths tangles with the other's collar. it happened with Juno and Loki and it was horrid! http://www.wilddingo.com/2009/08/06/thoughtless-thursday/

Keep up with training. Take them to classes. And above all, be consistent (in behavior) with how you train them. I rescued both Loki and Juno with 3 months of eachother...dumbest thing i ever did...one is hard enough to train. but a year later, i can train them both...leave one i a down-stay and train the other. Also, calling a dog out of "play" is hugely important, especially for safety. When you get a strong hold of the basics with them, you can start training one at a time to come out of play. it's super hard to do, because they'll blow you off, rather play with another dog...but if you ever learn to do it, you'll impress everyone you know!
